Read This Book!

My coworker recommended this book, and once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. It is such an interesting story about Greg Mortenson, a man who is changing the world... The book is called Three Cups of Tea, co-authored by David Oliver Relin. I think everyone should read it.

    I've put myself on the library's waiting list for this book. All the present copies are checked out, and there's twenty people waiting in front of me, so apparently you're not the only one who is passing the word about this book!

    Well, I made it to the top of the waiting list and picked up this book at the library today. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend - until time for the Colts game!!!! Love ya, Mom

    VERY interesting book about an incredible man - and the incredible wife who supports him and takes care of their small children while he's half a world away for two months at a time!

So lets see first congrats on your marriage...I saw what you said to him when he proposed...yea that is the same thing that I said to Mario when he asked me...heha...ok a quick recap on what I have been up to...Still working at Eli Lilly...got engaged Nov of 05, went house huntting in May of 06 and found a house luckily before Mario's dad was killed (not sure if you heard about the Hamilton murders in Jun 06...his dad was one of them)...anyways...his dad got to see the house prior and we bought the house in Jul 06, Married Sept 23, 06, found out pregnant Dec 28, 07, Moved Teri (little sis) in to marian college aug 08, colts game at the new statium w/the mayor one week before the biggest day of our lives (so you can imagine how large i was... :))and gave birth to Olivia Charlotte on Sep 4th, 2006....and now i am on a 2 week vacation for christmas and new years...of course there are many other things that i have been doing but those are the big notes....I was so excited to read all that you have been up to...Hope all is well w/ you and your family....I included my email address in this note, just in case ;) I better go...Olivia is sleeping so i can get some cleaning done...Hope to talk to you soon...
