Colts 38, Pats Go Home Crying Like Babies

PEYTON FINALLY DID IT! Isn't he so wonderful? Wow, what a game - exciting, suspenseful, emotionally draining. Peyton = winner. Tom the wonder boy = loser. I love Peyton. Everyone, go buy your shirt today. Mine is on the way, thanks to my best friend Anne (picture coming soon). HOT. Peyton vs. Rex. Laser Rocket Arm vs. Wet Noodle Arm. Dwight Freeney vs. Urlacher. Hot Fast Man vs. Slow Bald White Boy. Look at Peyton, he is so handsome. And smart. Please pray for his thumb. GO COLTS! Superbowl, Miami, Sunday February 4. If anyone has tickets, I think that would be a perfect birthday present for your favorite girl.

I love it! I'm laughing so hard I'm crying. You'll be happy to know that my support for your team almost got me in an altercation last night with a channel-flipping police officer... he won, he had a gun.

Oh you know I have to give you some grief...I'll give you the laser rocket arm vs. wet noodle arm, but ask Reggie Bush about taunting Urlacher...How'd that work out for him?

Da' Bears...in a big Bear bus!

Todd - Reggie who? The only Reggie in my life is Reggie WAYNE, the best catching hands in the NFL. Da Bears, their big Bear bus, I hope they have a lot of tissues on that big bus because we're gonna send them home crying! Keep it coming, Todd, we've got two whole weeks to enjoy this!

'Dey won it in a Big Bear Bus...

I don't think Reggie Wayne has been the receiving threat in the playoffs that D. Clark has and D. Clark is gonna have to worry about B. Urlacher!

So Peyton Marino finally brings his playoff record up to .500 and all the Colts fans start spouting off at the mouth. Your poor mother even posted about it. I'm sure she raised you to be "graciously modest" and did all she could...to quote Merle Haggard...Mama Tried. I know you did your best Mom, but youngsters nowadays...We'll see how loud you are when you're washing your car with that Colts AFC Champion shirt/rag this summer.

    Da' Bears!

Shannon, when you're ready to make a pick I'm very curious to hear it! Give me the link to that website you told me about last night where you take the personality quiz... we'll see if my blood truly does run blue!

Todd, I may be obnoxiously spouting at the mouth, but that's only because this is such an unprecendented accomplishment... the Colts have not made it to a Superbowl since they came to Indy, and maybe, just maybe, all the trash talk about Peyton being a "choker" will finally stop. And I'm fairly confident that you can keep up with all of my trash talk these next couple of weeks! And you're right - Dallas Clark has been a huge receiver this year, and I'm not worried about his matchup with Urlacher because Dallas is SUPER TOUGH!

Thanks guys for the comments... I love blog land.

    GO COLTS!

Now now...in my defense...I never said ANYthing about being obnoxious...I know better than that. I totally agree about the Manning/choker hype. That's just a bunch of hype. The guy is a hall of fame QB and a great student of the game. The media just has to latch onto something to make a story out of it. To be honest, I have wanted him to get his ring for a long time, but he's just not gonna get it from Da' Bears.

Oh yeah...don't you worry about me keeping up with your minor league trash talk. I'm checking myself so I don't hurt your feelings. Who wins it all...Da' Bears! "Tad just hadda nudda hat-attack!"

Mom, let me help you out. I didn't have a clue why Shannon said that either. But that and the big Bear bus comes from a Saturday Night Live skit where fat men sit around and say "Da Bears" about 60 times and talk about Ditka. If Ditka's driving the Bears in a big Bear bus, the Bears will win the Indy 500. Men. Weird.

Rick Mears or Da' Bears in a big Bear bus? Is Ditka driving? Yes. Then Da' Bears!...in a big Bear bus! Tad...dere's an x-ray of your hat. See dat chamber dere...dat's an egg. The other one...dat's sass-sage! Da' other one...that big clog? Dat's Da' Bears defense stopping up Da' Colts!

You've been kind of quiet here lately...Getting a little worried about the game? Are you waiting for my game prediction yet or more of my Super Bowl Hype posts?

Give me your game prediction, Todd! Here's mine:
COLTS 24, BEARS 10. My prediction may be a little ballsy, but I think Rex will make at least one big mistake and our defense will capitalize. And I also think Peyton will have a good game on Sunday, that we'll see the best his laser rocket arm has to offer. I'm gonna try to tone down the trash talk this week and just think positive thoughts and PRAY! Okay, your turn...

Is it my turn to tone down my smack or to give my take on the score? If you're aching for some more hype...check out my Super Bowl haikus.

I think you will find them artful and inspiring. As for my game prediction...not yet! I'm still formulating my scientifical, analysisical, prototypical redundantical, analysis.

Oh - It's your turn to give your score prediction... keep the smack coming if you must, I am tough and I can handle it. I'll be patient, but I need your prediction by Saturday. GO COLTS!

Mom-you rock! I have thoroughly enjoyed your and Sarah's back-and-forth. You two make a great blog team. Don't worry, most people don't finish my posts out of sheer boredom...so I appreciate your effort in making it to "scientifical"!

As for my prediction...now don't go using this in any sort of gambling activity (because you know my predictions are money)...well as for the score...I'm thinking...Bears D, no respect, shaking the stigma of the 1985 team, something to prove...vs. greatest QB in the NFL, new clicking Colts D, Wayne and Harrison, poor kick return coverage...I'm thinking that I will just have to keep calculating to keep it all scientifical...As Jethro would say...I hafta keep 'cipherin' on it some.

I'll give you all the time you need, Todd... until Sunday, then I need a prediction, scientifical or not.
My mom is such a fan that she's going out tonight to buy a blue shirt to wear for "Blue Day" in Indiana. Go Mom!
If anyone out there needs to borrow some blue for "Blue Day" here in NC, just let me know - I have more than enough to go around!

Aw man! I left this detailed prediction and it didn't post! Well, here's the gist of it.

    Da' Bears 34
    Colts 28
